While I'm working on new products for my store, I've been working on 2 graphic novels at the same time. One of them, currently in final art development, has a refined and elegant style in its visual aesthetic similar to the American 'cartoons' of the 1950s. This story, set in Los Angeles, 1956, is about an American filmmaker going through the most critical point of his career... and possibly of his life. But the artist evolves through pain and suffering into a profound plot about the meaning of the film industry and the meaning of Art.
The second graphic novel is very different, has a more personal drawing style, and is characterized by its marked touches of humor. Set during the Pacific War in 1945, this story is VERY different from the other war stories of World War II that we can know or imagine, because in addition to its lighthearted tone, it is plagued by an existentialist, philosophical, and universal character regarding the history of mankind... In addition... This humor, absorbs the absurdity of existence and will reveal the psychology of the individual, the subject, and its role in the world through mythology.
